When our foodie founder, Alexander Tan, first read a report on the environmental effects of livestock in 2009, he felt compelled to do something about it. At the time, he resisted vegan food, but he knew in his heart it was possible to combine his passion for food with his love of the environment.
A YEAR LATER, VEGANBURG WAS BORN. SINGAPORE’S FIRST PLANT-BASED BURGER JOINT SOON EXPANDED TO LOCATIONS IN CALIFORNIA, AND THOUSANDS OF HAPPY CUSTOMERS AND COUNTLESS FOOD AWARDS PROVED THAT ALEX WAS NOT ALONE.
